Sept 14 - Broke Down

Not long after class begin, I noticed something not right with the trainer. I felt bad for him...I dunno why but I could see he wasn't comfortable. Halfway through a module, he stopped and said he felt he has failed to hold our attention and he said maybe b'cos he's still new and not used to our culture...suddenly, to everyone's surprise, he broke down. Sam, the ang mo trainer who was there to evaluate him, gave him a hug and told the class to have a short break.

SK went out to let his tears flow freely...I went up to him and told him not to feel bad, not to sentence himself because of few rotten eggs. As I console him, Celia, Reina and Beer came to join me. Soon, few others came to give him more encouraging words. The 2 culprits were no where to be seen.

Class resumed with Sam conducting while SK sat at the corner jotting down stuff or perhaps 'learning', Abt an hour later, we saw his big boss came over. Haaa....wanna know how the boss knows ? Celia SMSed my Boss as soon as SK broke down while Reina called her. So, Boss called his Big Boss and told her what happended. Corina called SK out to talk to him. I learnt about this much later. SK told me Corina was worried and quickly came over to see how he is. He said he felt touch but he wondered how Corina knew...well I told him, we are all concern for him, even our boss. He was so happy that we care and still believe in him. :)

I stayed back to ask SK about my project while my team members went back. I forgot to off my silent mode, didn't notice Meow called me...until later when I noticed Gavin called me....Meow worried and called to ask Gavin where I was. Ooops. sorry Meow Meow.

Sept 13 - Japanese Food

The class is getting more distraction from 2 participant from HR. Buey ta han, act smart. Celia is feeling very annoyed with them.

Right after BPI Class, we headed to Gurney. Whenever Jas is here, we go for Japanese food. Her favourite food ma. We had Sushi King for dinner. I learnt that she loves Egg Mayo. I dun eat much, moreover I dun take those raw stuff, but still I enjoy the company. I love my team and my boss.

Sep 12 - BPI class

Starting today till Fri, have to go for BPI training at PSDC. Luckily not me alone, my team members (Celia, Reina & Beer) also there. They flew in last nite.

There were like 8 tables, each 3 to 5 ppl. Ewe Jin, Celia and another Marketing guy Jason shared the same table. SK the trainer is kind of new, this is his first BPI class. Sam, an 'Ang Moh', is there to evaluate SK and also helped out if necessary. He is the BPI 'Guru'.

Class is ok, SK is a bit soft. He lack some presentation skills. Tone is mostly monotonous and couldn't quote us examples more relevant to our jobs. GB from HR asking a lot of questions, and giving comments....causing distractions to the class. She was like 'keh gao-gao' (act smart). 'Buey ta han' sama her. Duh ~ ! What to do, she is from HR training, so she thinks she knows better. Celia couldn't stand her. But she thinks GB looks like HK Actress Sit Kah Yin though. Uueek ~! The real actress is far far better leh. :P

Lunch, we threw aside our lunch coupon and jumped into Gavin's car with boss waiting. Went to Jurin for lunch. Unfortunately we had to wait some 40 mins before our food came. Really frustrating when u have to keep chasing, we needed to rush back for out class ma.

Jas followed us in after that, we were half hour late. She got to talk with Sam, her Si Foo and now good friend. They talked for a while before she left as Gavin was waiting for her.

Class ended quite early today. Gavin n Jas came to fetch 4 of us. We stopped by Starbucks e-Gate for drinks and internet access, unfortunately, no access yet, so we left lo...went to Gurney Plaza's Starbucks. Jas treated us coffee. What I ordered ? What else....Frappuccino® Espresso - without cream, yummy !
We finished my revised scorecard report. Beer went to look for her SKII. Everytime she comes from BKK, she will buy some back, it's cheaper here, even Vincci, it's almost half price for her. She didn't buy any yet, went to get brochure to 'study' first.

We had delicious seafood at Crab Village. We had 'chi leh' (I called it helicopter coz the shell looks like one), salted prawns, grilled crabs, etc (cannot remember), but we were very full. The place is kinda cooling, open air at the backyard...kind of nice. Variety might be limited but taste is still good.

Didn't see Meow today coz already quite late when Gavin dropped me home.

Sep 11 - Zana's Housewarming

Meow designed while I made Zana a pair of earrings. We also shared present with the guys for her housewarming party.
Her apartment is just next to Gigi's. Nice place. We had late lunch at her place. The guys got themselves comfy on the sofa. Meow dozed off for a while. Very the can.

Sep 10 - Dress...not Cheap

Saturday, yippee ! Can shop till drop :) er...I mean till knees drop, not that rich ler.
Went to Prangin Mall to shop for a dress. No choice, other dress I have, mostly black colour, dun wanna offend Sui Eh on her wedding day.
Got a lightgreen/black/grey/white patterned dress for RM 135.00. It's not ankle length but slight below knee.
Heck, most women shoes might be cheap, but dress definitely not leh. Cannot afford to buy always, sure koyak. Somemore if you have to attend few wedding ceremonies of your colleagues...then surely cannot 'recycle' your dress.....at least not so soon...duh !

Had Japanese food at one of the stalls at dunno which floor, can't even remember the name la...food so so nya. It's located at along the corridor, can look down to ground floor.
Went back that time, KNS ~ !! Parking rate (basement) RM 2 per hour. Cut throat nya ~ !!

I almost forgot Meow has badminton friendly match, luckily he still has time to make it there.
I had my dinner at 1am, he 'tah pao' fried rice for me. Made crystal balls pendant.

Time Flies

Today (24 Nov), I was housekeeping my mails and realised I have not replied to Bee Nee for a long time. Ok, so I did and replied all :

Dear dear ladies...time flies....yesterday while searching for an envelope, I stumbled upon my 1991's diary...yep, Form 3 huh.
I realised I wrote a lot about Band practices (gee as if I got other things beside that), us, juniours, sir, performances.

Bee Nee...we went to Singapore (did u go too ?) for the Music Camp tour thing. I also wrote about Chew (french horn player) arguing with us during our Queue for dinner at the year end Music Camp. After then we became good friends. Can't remember if Gigi and Bee Nee went or not.

Lets see what else...oh, we cleaned the storeroom...oh, OPL and I had to take care of the uniforms and gloves, etc. before our Sports Day performance, that day sch ends earlier, we rehearsed, so after our rehearsal, Ms. Ho asked us to stay in Gym to take care of the stuff.
Before the formation starts, I felt dizzy...think that was the only time I felt that...remember I always feel dizzy during assembly...but dunno why I can tahan during band performance. I guess must be due to passion for the band ;)

Oh, that was also the year where my class sold Ice Ball at our food and fun fair, and Sch Band sold cakes (i think). Lay Guat and me were in the Straits Time's where they captured my class' stall.

I complained about sir 'scolding' me over the recruits not doing well enough....they didn't put in effort to practise and sir said :"You better do something about it, Joez!" I think that time I felt hurt a bit... I am not sure if you girls felt that before, I mean, the pressure and responsibility, some more frustrations when yr members not determined.

Well, I didn't write much and I didn't read all...just some memories to share lo.

Now, 14 years later....so much has changed.
My sis is celebrating her 3rd Anniversary today. Anak also besar...Bee Nee also expecting soon...Gigi getting married, OPL put on more weight (compared to schooling time - Gigi and I agreed over our Band photo), more attractive....but u know what, some things never change .... our characters ;) and our friendship :))

You girls are Best Pals ! God Bless always !
It's also Thanksgiving....am thankful for everything I have.

Sep 9 - Smelly or not ?

Gavin & Chris made me eat at YakiTeppan, I sort of 'ban' that place coz my clothes will smell of food after makan. 2 against 1, kalah lo. At least this is not as bad as SSQ food court. That ban will never be lifted :P Sorry la, I know lotsa good food there but really cannot tahan ler...very stuffy and smelly ler.

Luckily we were early and not so much frying in the kitchen, so this time my clothes didn't smell la.

Dinner time, choo-char at Leng's Aunty....damn....makan a lot these days, chia lat.
Meow went for badminton but unfortunately no one there...kesian.
I stopped my beadwork by 10.30pm. Tired.

Sep 8 - Routine

Supposed to still be on MC, so didn't go to office. I treated Sako and Mako lunch at Jurin. Long time didn't makan with them ma. Today they didn't argue...thank God.
These two sisters, one like to cakap/gossip, another dominant and sometimes impatient....susah la. Headache. Can see they enjoy the Japanese food. Glad la.

Dinner time makan KFC pula...I know, I know....calories and fat added :P But the spicy chicken damn crispy leh.
Fat also cannot help la, not everyday makan ma.

Bought some beads materials before Meow went for his badminton.
His badminton time is my beadwork time ;)
Made more earrrings....satisfied...went to bed. This has actually became my routine nowadays.

Sep 7 - MRI Scan

Although I made appointment, I still had to wait to see my Doctor. Reached there 11am. Sako and Mako went shopping, but I still have to wait for the Guarantee Letter before the MRI scan can be done. Called my Office's Clinic, they helped me to chase the insurance company. I was told that the letter was faxed back...that was already 3pm. I had to wait for my turn....so told my aunts to go back and will get Meow to fetch me back.

As I didn't want to stay overnight, the hospital gave me a room for maternity mothers....alamak. There's one special corner with machines to pump the milk out. One lady who was there pumping for ....gee...I think nearly 2 hours ! Tak sakit ke ?! Of coz got curtains. Damn...I didn't bring any books/magazines. Went down to the store, they only have chinese magazines. Chia lat....damn bored and can't sleep.

5.40pm - finally went in for the MRI scan....pretty scary. I have to strip and change into the gown, no metal stuff...no problem, I read abt this in internet earlier, so I took off all my jewelleries. watches before going to Loh Guan Lye this morning. A guy asked me to lie on the board, gave me something to hold and to press in case I cannot bear. Told me there will be very loud noises....ya, damn loud noises leh...and oh....I shouldn't move....and better to close my eyes.

Slowly I enter into the cylinder thingy, I closed my eyes...the thumping noise became louder...my heartbeat beat faster leh...at times I felt as though I was in a disco. I open my eyes to peep....wow, what a small space, all white (i think coffin is more spacious), so I decided to close my eyes for the rest of the whole process. Goodness, when you u are told not to move, guess what....I started to feel itchy here and there....duh ~ ! But cannot move leh...so, I tried to deviate my attention to the loud noise, alamak, lagi nervous...then I started praying...ahh...the noises became music :)

The whole scan process took 35 mins and I was told that mine was fast ! Can't imagine if I need to stay in there any longer :P

Went back to my temp room to wait for Meow, he came right after work. We had the yummy Char Koay Kak near Union School. Unfortunately sudah digested by the time I went to bed at 2am...must be all the energy and calories consumed while I worked on my beads. So late liao, went to bed hungry lo.

Am I your Close Friend ?

Just now (as in today Nov 18) I had to reboot my pc after our IT upgraded something...so my MSN signed in again...hence it will prompt to whoever added me that I am online.
Few seconds later...I got a message....from Mysterious Chuah...what a surprise.

He wrote : leng lui... testing Me : test fail... :p

Then I ask him when wanna join us makan lunch again....which he did not answer....instead
He wrote : u'r the most prettiest gal that i have know among my friends (dun tell others aah??)

Me : ohh...thanks, do u tell other girls same thing?

He : y u said so?? u are the 1st one i said like that. my words is only close friend like you can say like that... the rest i won't say so

Waaa...I am his close friend...let's see, either he doesn't have many close friends, or his definition of close friend is ....er....well, we only had lunch like 20 times over 2 years and he never tell anything abt himself or life...dun share secrets...hardly talk to each other, only smile and exchange few words when bump into each other (even that I had to start a converstation - u know me la, good PR, ueekk ~! ). So, I am his close friend, WOW ! Very honoured.

Oh, talking abt PR, Gigi just labelled me that, she said I have very good PR. I joined her for lunch today since Gavin is away to Pangkor for trip, invited by Sales. She wanted to find envelope, so I brought her to CA dept since I know high chances they might have. Jen not in, MC, so I asked another guy, he doesn't have, looked around, ah...Carmen...Gigi looked worried, she asked if I know her, I said ya...so can ask, what a luck, she has. Great !

We then proceed to Cafeteria which is quite a long way. Along the way, I met a few ppl and exchanged smiles/hi. Gigi was rolling her eyes and smiling...I asked her what's up...she said...seems like I know everyone who passed by, gee....I didn't realise that. Aiya, I told her, only so happen nya...mana tau, another half journey, I met some more...alamak....kena perli. I told her my sis punya PR better than mine. Gigi said if my sis works in my office, sure the whole company knows her....hehehe.

Sep 6 - Mysterious Guy

Met mysterious Chuah at SSQ market during lunch time. Invited him to join us, at first he looked reluctant...still, he sat with us but didn't really talk, only answering some of our questions (to break the silence).
He treated us egg tarts (coz we treated him few times).
We always have to 'pre-book' him for lunch....need to give at least 3 days heads-up if want to invite him to join us lunch. Not that he goes out, he usually lunch-in, brought own food most of the time. Oh, talking abt food, he said Penang food is no good...walau eh, what sort of Penangite is this eh ?!

What else....oh ya....he doesn't like chinese girls...thinks all girls are only after his $. Asked questions like :
Why do human need to eat / work ?
Why guys need to have gf/wife? He said a robot will do....[duh !]
He hunches. I once asked him why he looked on the floor when walking, he said b'coz he's too tall and if he walks straight, ppl would think he's snobbish. [Double Duh ~!!]
We tell some jokes, he said we are cute....?! Er...obviously I think he needs to go out and mingle more la.
Ok, enough of him for now.

Gavin told me boss wanna send flowers tomorrow, me going for MRI scan and had to be 'admitted'. I told him no need coz I won't be staying overnight, just for insurance claim purpose.

Meow didn't got for his badminton tonigh, instead, brought JJ to my house. Ron was so jealous yet excited. But I dare not let him go near JJ.

Brainless

Dead tired, mentally esp….Quarter end over but dunno why I am still sitting here on my desk.Suppose to enjoy a nice week off but idiotic big boss made us come back to pull some reports. So wanna zzz back when I woke up this morning…raining…ahh…. I wish I am still lying on the bed.

Damn him….know nothing except panic and screaming at us. Didn't join in our calls. Some more dared to take leave, came back know nothing…pressed by his boss, then hit on us.Poor S.Sum cried last Fri. Even Raj got scolded for Orders held due to flood. Hello ?! How can we control mother nature ? He memang chia lat. Everyone else knew we worked hard…except him. S.Sum even felt asleep on the table and woke up next morning.

Damn BAK (Bo Ah Kai - brainless), Big Boss (Let's call him BB - Brainless Boss) sent a mail at 1.45am demanding for us to revert on numbers, and held a conference call 7 hours later expecting answers…poor Raj from India…still too early for him, just came into office, got scolded for nothing…had no idea on the mail, yet to read. Sigh ~! After scold scold…he had no choice to finish off the call coz Beer voiced out to let us settle our issue and discuss this later. Then later a bit guilty, call Gavin…he later send a mail to apologise…duh !

He thought we are Harry Potter….leave a big scar on us, yet expect us to continue to do magic. Duh !Our 'Mommy' swore she's gonna help us. We are getting other supporting bosses to help. Eh…survey comes liao….muahahaha….i shall make sure I won't spare the comment section.

Gavin also not sure whether there's more CD. He borrowed from Serene. Now I am stuck with a story without ending…duh~! Wanna go rent the CDs, mah fan, sigh.

We had lunch under the trees…beautiful shady trees….cool and nice view….hahaha…wherelse…BJ flat there, the famous Pan Mee.

And more fattening food for dinner…BBQ Chic…cannot control, 'tham chiak', what to do.

Aunty called from Canada. She's going for her ultrasound check next day. Prayed for her.

I slept at 4am, too shiok making a pendant.

Sep 4 - More Celery

Two pigs woke up late, had nasi kunyit. Meow said, yesterday's Celery tak puas, need more. So we went to hunt for the vege. Lucky thing it was just nearby his place. JJ got to tag along. But then my blouse full of his fur and smell liao.

Back home, I made some bracelets to finish my Orders. We finally finished watching the VCD Gavin lent us…but story tak habis ?? Aiks, I think he forgot to give us the last few CDs?

10.30pm, we fried his favourite Vege. This time taste better coz got the right ingredients liao. Yummy ! If only eating more celery can increast my 'salary' ....

Busy again !

Damn...it's that busy month again, super busy I mean...once every 3 months.
Now even busier...with my beads stuff added. Duh ! Can't wait till Nov.

Sep 3 - Celery craze

Lunch we save as we makan at Meow's home. After that we went to get my supplies.
We also bought celery and tuna at SSQ. Wanted to try the recipe his sis did in KL. He said his sis used some kind of pepper but dunno which, we took a look at the shelves, waa so expensive, but we dun need the whole bottle wor, how how how ?

Hehehe...Meow suggested that we go makan at McD and take the pepper. And so we did...but no pepper wor ? How ? I asked from the staff....he refilled only like 5 packets, aiks, where got enough ah ? So, went 2nd round, this time we took more, hehehe. Pai seh.

Since we had McD quite late, we didn't eat dinner till.....2am ! Yes, were watching VCDs (Cantonese series) and doing beads...then Meow said wanna cook the celery. And so we did, early in the morning, two big 'tikus' (mouse). Yum yum. JJ our dog also wanted some too, he gobbled through, I think he did not chew at all.

I work from home, quite tired. Skipped breakfast and lunch. Very hungry, had choo char at Leng Aunty's. After makan, back to my place, Meow had a short nap. I started my bead work from 12.30 - 2am.

Sep 2
Lunch in. Quite free today. Made some sale.
Excited as today dancing class resume, this time Fridays instead of Mondays.We're learning Jive. Basic steps for today. U have to sort of tip-toe a bit. After class, I was hungry. Meow wanted to eat at Teluk Bayan (next to Shell Petrol Station), one of the places which I ban...too smelly, hot and stuffy. I hesitated but agreed on condition we sit far end, away from the stalls with fried stuff. But Meow chose a table in the centre. I felt so uncomfortable, almost suffocated. I lost my appetite totally even though was very hungry. So, I didn't eat. Meow thought I purposely show him 'colour'. Was too tired and 'kao uek' to complain. No one can understand exactly how I feel. Could see that he also 'beh shiok' liao.

Back home, I quickly bathe and shampooed my hair twice. Waa...damn smelly, buey ta han. He picked me up again after his badminton game. I was very very hungry, he accompanied me...had Nasi Kandar. Like that sure fat, eating late at night.

Back to home, rest and what else ? Work lo...sigh...every weekend have to do reports la.

Aug 22
Finally, back to work after a short holiday (burning money), back to con-calls....lucky thing got dancing, otherwise fall asleep.
Of coz, what else to look forward to ? Lunch time, heehee. Had Nasi Lemak (yummy) at the BJ corner coffee shop. I rushed to finish bracelets for May n Sue, farewell gift from my team. And at last, I finished off the necklace (choker) for W.Shan, which I owe her since beginning this year (due to insufficient beads and had to shop around). I would give to her for free la.

Aug 23
We have an assigment today - get SKII's brochure for Beer. She is coming over for training next month and asking abt promotions / price. According to her, in Bangkok, SKII very expensive, even Vincci is two times more expensive.
So, Gavin and I had lunch at McD before we proceed the SKII counter at SSQ. I asked the lady to write down the prices, got an extra book for my own reference as well :P
Called Aunty in Canada. She's going to the doc. Pray for her. I made some beaded stuff before Zzzz.

Aug 24
Lunch time saw Sui Eh with Anthony and L.Hong. Sui Eh had her wedding pix. What a luck :)
We were the first few ones to see....very beautiful !
Today's last day for May May. I gave her the bracelet...she got to choose, she chose the grey one...so I gave Sue the blue one....Sue loved the colour.
Glad and satisfied they both like the bracelets.

Sis called when I was making earrings. Had to fulfill some orders. Got too engrossed, didn't notice the time...alamak, 3am ! Forced myself to sleep. Duh.

Aug 25

Big boss invited us to join in for lunch/meeting with the other team...but Gavin n I didn't join coz we had farewell lunch with May May. She met us at office to return her badge. We had Japanese food at Soba Yoshi. She will be going for holiday in Canada, no need to work yet, no plans yet...so nice hor.
Back from lunch, saw the KFC meal box on our table, big boss treat one. I kept that for dinner. Shared with Meow KFC and maggi mee. So dinner considered FOC liao. Was too lazy to make any bead stuff, so I slept earlier at around 1.30am.

Aug 26

Early morning, big boss called Gavin, invited us for lunch, just three of us. We thought we could escape....duh. Not wanting to 'hentam' him too much as we know he's quite 'kiam siap', we did not suggest Japanese food. If my boss, sure she doesn't mind. So, we settled for Chef and Brew. Tension nya asking abt our numbers...how to reduce this, what's the plan to counter la....sigh ! Somehow we managed to change the topic, haha...I kesi-kesi ask abt his family...children, holiday, kekeke.

Sue's last day...went over to her cube to 'eng siu' abit and took some pictures. Honestly I dun hold any more grudge on her. She had given me some hard time last year. She was also part of the reason I left this company. Well, it's tiring hating someone. I dun like to use the word "Hate", too strong. "Dislike" is a better word. Hehehe.

Meow didn't go badminton today, maybe b'coz he has to work this Sat.

Aug 27
After work, Meow came to my place. We joined his two female colleagues (YT & Heng) for Lok-Lok at Dato K'ramat. Saw Kong from the office, so long didn't see him, since last year, hardly pass thru his cube ma. He told me he has broke off with his gf...cannot tahan with her wor.

After lunch, we went to buy my beads stuff at 2 different places. Then lepak at Prangin Mall as we will meet his colleagues at Esplanade at around 8pm...so, if go back to B.Baru, far ler. We were early and had our own Rojak and Belitung. Soon, Rog, YT and Heng came. They were hungry. So we ordered fruits, Sotong Bakar. Started to drizzle and we quickly moved to inner side. Lucky thing we managed to get table. Annie and hubby just arrived then...and chia lat....more food on the table. Rojak, Kangkung with Cuttlefish, Roasted Chicken Wings, Satay....we were damn full. Esp. Meow and I, imagine eating from 8pm - 10pm !

Back home, wash my hamsters' cage in hope to lose away some calories...ya, as if can lose. :P

Aug 28

It's a lazy Sun. We had lunch at Meow's home, Got celery, I think his mom purposely cook his fav vege. Meow bathed JJ while I work on my report. We didn't go out shopping or anything...just for late dinner at Relau. Oh, fattening food also, Bak Kut Teh.

Aug 29

Lunch we went to Sg. Ara, near Meow's place. Gavin's car got a minor scratch, he brought his car to Toyota Service centre near there. The boss said no need to do, just polished, ok liao. He's nice and didn't try to make money. FOC service. He asked Gavin "who scatched, you or your wife?", he was looking at me when he mentioned the word "wife". Gavin didn't notice...I was smiling only...biasalah...a lot of ppl in our company mistaken us as an item. As long as Meow understands :)

We dropped by Meow's house as Gavin wanted to see JJ. He didn't see JJ for a month plus already, since Jul 17th when he passed JJ to us. JJ was active as usual.

Meow's badminton was cancelled due to SSQ court got dinner function. Joined his colleagues for dinner at Tmn Pekaka. Back home, Mako came with Leong till 10pm. I could only start my bead work at 12.30am....did Bee Hoon's necklace at 2am.

Aug 30

Chuah joined us for lunch. We went to BJ, Sushi King. Lately eating lotsa Jap food. :P
We had Malay's ikan bakar for dinner with Rog, S.Lin and YT. So so la but the girls said very nice....maybe b'coz first time tasted Malay's version.
I finished Bee Hoon's necklace. Called Sis to wish belated birthday, but she said I already did a month ago :P OOops ! Damn blur liao, Her b'day was last month, haha.
Meow came over to fetch me after his badminton.

Aug 31

National day...no need to go office. Meow played with JJ in the morning. I was working. He took nap while I continued working.
We had late lunch, cannot tahan, too hungry, so woke him up. After makan, continue working lo. And also updated my blog, somemore kepo, wrote one in BM.

Tummy full, guess what? Meow nap again. It was raining when we went for dinner at Relau. After dinner....what else ? Bead work time. Meow also kepo, he helped me design some earrings. Good leh... :)

Yep...I sprained my fingers...I think I injured them when I was making the Dangling Flowers earrings...very tedious, took me almost 1.5 hour per pair! I did 2 pairs while watching Malaysian Idol on Fri evening....3 hours straight holding pliers.
So now my last, fourth and middle fingers on my left hand can hardly bend...and very very painful.
Cham liao...I hope can recover soon...now cannot work on my beads...and I have so many orders to fulfil...how ? :,(
Chia lat...wanna hold mouse or pen also cannot. Now like cacat...typing also cannot press Ctrl C, Ctrl V...ahhh....kek sim !

Aug 20 - Eat and Eat

Took cab to 1Utama. Damn big...wished I could stay longer, can enjoy my shopping. When I say shopping, it could be window shopping, not necessarily have to buy….can spy here and there on the beaded stuff also ma ;)

So many cute things…I bought the cute doggy keychain for Gavin. Got myself a cute doggy hp holder. Oh…lunch…so many shops…dunno which one to pick. We settled for Johnny Restaurant. It’s steamboat…quite nice. Continued our shopping…saw Genki Sushi….must eat ! I insisted that Meow try…Penang dun have ma. I like it coz more variety and u can refill yr own green tea anytime coz it has hot water from the tap at every seat. At first Meow said I crazy, just eat few hours ago…but I think he enjoyed the food there.

Next, we took cab to Ikea. We first browsed around The Curve which is just opposite. I saw a stall selling similar to what I make, but nothing exactly same. Saw the lady custom made earrings, one customer picked her own colours. But it was quite hot there….the stalls are somewhere at the walkway, open air. Hmm…maybe I can rent a stall over the weekends…start selling at Gurney Plaza ? I wonder how much the rent is…to lazy to find out is.

It was my second time at Ikea, first time for Meow. Sooooo many ppl in there. Meow joked since we were there, must at least buy some thing….but we did not la. Too bad Penang dun have Ikea. We didn’t linger for too long, quite tired.

Back to his sis’ place,still early. Meow had a swim. I had to feed him twisties and peanut like yesterday. After shower, we had to leave for KLIA. At the airport, we had dinner….Burger King! How can my KL trip be complete if without Burger King wor. Reached Penang almost midnight. Meow’s bro fetched us. I still had to go office to get my laptop and back home for Sky Walker and Yoda. Back to Meow’s place…JJ was so happy to see us….ahh…nice to be home greeted by the cute little rascal.

Training

I just dun understand, whenever I plan to be away from office, issues come pouring in.
Duh !
Will be away for a day or two for my MRI scan. Nothing serious....just to check on the strain injury I had on my wrist, neck, shoulder and back.

I am so lazy and sometimes bz to update my blog....maybe should consider stop blogging.
Whenever free, I would make my beaded stuff. Last nite too shiok, didn't notice it was already 4am when I finished the last piece :P
Ok, I guess I will update as and when I can or got mood lo.

Aug 19 - Shopping in KL

After checked out from hotel, we headed for the Asia Jaya's LRT station. Meow's sis came to pick us up. She just came out from French class. She's staying with her French fiance in a nice condo in Bangsar. Meow went for a swim, while I stayed inside reading on an interesting book about understanding body language. The fiance's parents from France were there too. But I don't speak French and neither do they speak English, so after a couple of nods and smile, they were glued to the TV set while I browse through the pages. Meow's sis was busy in the kitchen preparing lunch.

After a while, I went to look for Meow, bringing along peanuts we bought last night. In between paragraphs...I threw nuts to Meow who was in the pool, trying to imitate the actions of seal...sometimes barking when I forgot to 'feed' him. At the side, there's a small girl, around 5 - 6 yrs old....learning to swim. She has a special instructor to teach her. Too bad the guy is no where near Baywatch guys.

By 2.30pm, we had lunch. I must admit his sis is real good at cooking. Meow got to enjoy his fav. vege - celery. She is quite creative, her cooking is a bit mixed. She had tuna fried with celery. And another dish...mashed potato at the base, seasoned dark sauce beef on top. The 'kam heong' chicken very yummy...so was the 'lobak soup'.

His sis offered to lend us her car but Meow wasn't too happy about driving around KL. She drew map...but honestly, I dun really know how to read her map...lucky thing I brought along a printed map downloaded from Internet. Meow looked gloomy...I think he still beh shiok about driving and stuck in the jam. We went to Petaling Street and walked to Jln Sultan to find the shop which sells lotsa beads and stuff. Meow waited patiently for me while I chose the stuff I wanted. If only there's one shop in Pg. The variety....punya banyak....I wished I had brought more cash then. Too bad they don't accept credit card. After spending around RM 150.00, I started looking for Meow....called his hp...turned around, he was just behind me. We just passed thru Petaling Street, nothing that caught our eyes, some more, it was hot. We decided to head back to the car as we were not sure which direction to walk to any nearby shopping complexes.

Initally we wanted to go Sg. Wang Plaza or Lot 10, but somehow we missed the turning....what the heck...Times Square would do then. We wanted to walk over to opposite direction, to Sg. Wang...I think....but too bad it started drizzling...so we ended up having drinks at Dome in Berjaya Times Square. I must admit, MidValley Megamall is more interesting to shop. We walked around....I bought a pair of walking shoes. We had Japanese food for dinner. Dunno how we ended up in a feng shui shop....got him a dzi beads bracelets with tiger eye....and I got myself a bracelet too...for career.

Ok, now come the tough part again...going home...we missed some turnings....but managed to find the way back after 2 or 3 times. I guess next time we will just take the cab. His sis greeted us at the door, she just showered and about to sleep....what ? 10.30pm only wor ? KL ppl sleep so early meh?

Selamat Hari Merdeka

Happy Independence Day ! I am writing in Malay this time. Sorry if you don't understand, but nothing much, just exercising my BM. ;)

Sempena menyambut Hari Kemerdekaan dan menyahut laungan rakan belog untuk membelog dalam Bahasa Malaysia (Kempen
aku juga ingin turut serta menyibuk menyokong kempen ini. Tetapi kalau nak suruh aku mendaftar, ala...malas pula.

Apa yang nak diblelogkan ? Bengang pula...lagipun hari ni cuti, tak guna sangat otak...ni baru habis siap buat rantai kristal and anting-anting untuk rakan sekerja. Meow pula terlena di atas katil. Kalau nak keluar bersiar-siar atau 'shopping', malas juga, lagipun, pasti banyak orang dan kereta. Tonton tv ? Tak boleh juga...ibubapanya duk syiok dengan rancangan-rancangan Mandarin di Astro....habis macam mana ? JJ pun sedand lena, mestilah....ada kipas tersendiri.

Hai....rindu sangat dengan Nescafe ku...kat sini bukannya tiada kopi, tapi susah sikit, bukan rumahku atau pejabat, seganlah....tak pa, lain kali sajalah. Mesti ingatkan diri untuk beli periuk elektrik mini. Boleh bancuh dalam kamarnya, haha.

Dalam suasana yang sebegini, terimbas pula peristiwa-peristiwa hidupku selama ini, ada yang sedih, ada yang sukacita. Namun hatiku masih pilu, pedih...bagai disengat onak. Ku masih belum 'sembuh' sepenuhnya. Rasa seperti ada sesuatu yang terpendam. Adakala air mata menitis, bukan untuk dia yang pergi, tetapi untuk hati yang hancur...pegangan dan janji yang kononnya teguh, hancur-berkecai dengan kata-katanya....setiap patah perkataan yang diucapkan, tersemat dalam hati seolah ditebuk atau dipaku dengan dalamnya. Mungkin disebabkan perbuatannya kini bercanggahan dengan prinsip dirinya. Semua yang dia benci, dia lakukan untuk perempuan sial tu. Mungkin ini namanya cinta? Atau terpukau ? Aii...biarlah...lepaskan diriku...kalau boleh, aku tidak mahu apa-apa berkaitan dengannya lagi.

Masih teringat katanya..."As an ex, I will still be there for you and concern for you...". Pi lah ! Rakan apa ni ? Bulan lepas, ayahku masuk hospital, bukannya dia tidak tahu. Bila ku kembali kerja selepas seminggu, tidak pun dia menanya khabar....kawan apa ni ? Memang kecewa sekali ! Kalau boleh tidak ingin berdepan atau ternampak kedua-duanya...tak mengapa...tidak lama lagi, mereka akan pindah ke tingkat bawah.

Tak palah...nasib baik masih ada rakan karib, Meow, keluarga and Tuhan yang Maha Esa...cukup menyentuh and bersyukur. Sudah memadai.

Ok la, setakat ini sahaja buat kali ini, mungkin akan mencuba di hari depan. Tak terlarat pula nak memerah otak....susah la, nak korek kembali...banyak yang 'tetanam' dalam otakku yang terbatas peringatannya.

Joez - Simply Me

Someone told me that my blog very sien....of coz la, no more drama series ma...unless u want me to suffer again like last year till beginning of this year?
Now life quite peaceful ma. Work, eat, outing, beads, pets, nothing much.

Someone else told me my blog very confusing....the date I posted and the thing I said....hmmm....like when I said I 'am in KL' but I am actually in Penang. Aiya, I blog about my life, my history...very difficult to blog about the present....tak cukup masa. Sometimes I leave it for one week or two before I update ma, my blog is like my diary. I write almost everything...of coz some things have to censor la. Tak kan u wanna know how many times I visit the toilet meh ? Or whether I shave or pull my armpits hair ? Or whether I fantasize Asian guys, black or white guys? Aiya, these are too personal, cannot blog ler. I very chicken...wanna read juicy stuff, go visit Hustler Diaries ok.

Mine is just plain, simple, that's why I named my blog Simply Me. But sometimes, things / ppl / environment complicate my life...sigh ~~ ! But never mind, I still have God to turn to and be strong and of coz friends and family who are always there for me.

Then the next question came...how come I can still remember what happened after so long....aiya...to tell the truth, my memory sucks, very selective...only remember what I prefer. I have a doc, which I will record very briefly according to date. So, whenever I wanna update, I will recall from these brief summaries....but when I left too long, I would just lumped few days together, otherwise, I will just wrote "Due to poor memory, I cannot remember what happened on this day" :P

Ok, there...u can choose to come or not to come, or just to 'pinjam' (borrow) to jump to other blogs (My Nescafe Blogs). To tell the truth, sometimes I am too lazy to update, prefer to go kepo other blogs. I am currently very much hooked to 'Wa Si Hokkien Lang' (sorry for those who doesn't understand Hokkien), but you can still enjoy others ma. There are some cool blogs which I enjoy too but didn't include in the link....they are just too damn popular, for e.g. almost everyone knows where to go for Kenny Sia or Minishorts...no need to put also know liao.

Sometimes blog too much, I got this 'penyakit', 'blogging' unconsciously in my mind....do u call this Mental Blog ? Too bad by the time I get my hands on the PC, the thoughts went away liao. Anyway, now u know my style, my blog, and the simple me.

Aug 18 - To Fly or not to fly

Morning already excited. Half day work then can cabut.
Gavin so nice, fetched May and I to airport. We had Nandos for lunch. I dun like Nandos but not much choice in Airport. Either that or Coffee Bean. Not like KLIA, so many choices.

May wanted to visit her bro and kao tim some things since she's moving there after resign. Glad to be on the same flight with her, otherwise sien si. Anyway, this is first time I go KL by flight for holiday. Some light turbulence on the way, clouds....alamak....kept praying...sudah jadi 'kay bo' (chicken) since I heard about Gavin's experience.

His was on the way back from KL to Pg. There was turbulence and captain announce that lights would be dimmed. Plane was shaking a lot like roller coaster ride. As the pilot tried to land, the whole plane was very very quiet, everyone holding tight, some to the seats, some to the person next to them. Not a single flight attendant in sight as they have been instructed to be seated. The plane was actually heading for the runway, ready for landing but suddenly it made an almost 45 degree change, flying upwards again into air......everyone shouted in the darkness....luggage compartment doors flung almost all at the same time ! No one dared to leave their seats to close it, yet at the same time feared that luggages might start falling onto them. As soon as the plane began flying horizontally and away from the clouds, some began to sigh relief while some still breathing heavily. Captain announced that he might try to land in Pulau Langkawi instead.....after a while, he decided to try landing at Pg Airport. Gavin said his heart beat real fast when the plane was landing.....as soon as the wheels touched the ground, everyone cheered ! It felt like experiencing something you watched in the movie...almost 30 mins....wonder if anyone shit in the pants. Later the pilot apologised but passengers were more happy than angry.
After hearing his experience and reading few mishaps in the papers....how not to worry ? But no choice, wanna save time so that can shop, so I fly lo.

Oh...May and I queued at the other line without family, we were the first two, however ppl were pushing their way in the family line. And the air stewardess treated like we were transparent. After some time waiting...May asked innocently "What should I do ah?". I almost wanted to speak out when one of the air stewardess realised we have been waiting for more than 10 mins and started to check our ID and boarding pass before letting us pass through.

We saw lotsa 'Ninjas' and avoided sitting near them. See them wearing all covered and in black already feel like 'lemas' (drowning). Wonder how to verify if the person is carrying fake / real passport since the face is covered and only left eyes. Saw the air stewardesses did some head count...there was one group of nine ppl whereby 7 of them are 'ninjas' (ladies). Since cannot check the face, so, she just counted 1,2,3,4,...9. Walau eh, so easy huh. What if got terrorists ah ? Can have something to scan the face when they pass through ...like those which scanned our bags ? Feel so insecure la.

We took KLIA transit since May will go off at Putra Jaya. After reaching KL Sentral, I changed to KTM, paid RM 1 to go to MidValley. Reached there 5.30pm, SMSed Meow and eagerly started my shopping ! Within 15 mins, I bought 3 blouses already. Then I did a lot of spying on jewellery esp beaded stuff. Noticed that KL girls like these a lot and almost every girls have fancy dangling earrings or necklaces. Walked into those shops selling crystals...ahh...so I know how much they are selling.

7pm, Meow came with Neoh (his colleagues) to join me. He was telling his colleagues "See, told u, she already bought something". 1.5 hour, I baru shopped 1 floor :P
Die, MidValley so big, how? He perli me, I come back tomorrow to pick u. Teng !
We were hungry, so we went for the long awaited meals / drinks at San Francisco Coffee. The extreme Mocha as suggested by Lilian is really nice. Neoh walked a short while with us before he disappeared to catch train to KL Sentral and proceed to KLIA. He went back to Pg. Meow took leave ma. So, we walked around, I was quite tired actually...we didn't buy much things. I wasn't really interested in clothes. Focused on cute stuff and 'survey'.

By 9.30pm, feet exhausted liao....cannot walk ler. We took train to Asia Jaya before taking cab back to his hotel.

Aug 17 - Meow's away

After lunch at Tesco, we browsed around. Saw dog's anti-tick collar - RM 22.45. Since Gavin said this is recommended by vet, ok, I bought one for Ron.

Surprisingly Chris joined us for dinner tonight. We tried the new Japanese Restaurant at Krystal Point - Jurin, near Siriwan. Nice, I quite like it there.

Called Meow when I reached home. He was already back to hotel. He's away for training in KL. Shall be joining him tomorrow evening. I still haven't pack my clothes.
Packed my stuff late at night. Having doubts on whether to bring laptop over or not.

Aug 16 - Places I ban

Yeaa, my lunch partner is back but with sexy voice. Everyday lunch time, headache, dunno where to go, lai-lai khi-khi same few places. Somemore we each ban certain places.

Gavin bans : Jln Tengah (flat), Supertanker
Reason : Hot, lotsa ppl, hard to get seats

I ban : SSQ foodcourt, Secret Recipe (SSQ, near KFC), Foodcourt near Shell, can I ban Kayu also ? Kayu, I only go for dinner, try not to sit inside.
Reason : Clothes become smelly and hot.

So, u see, everyday without fail, he or other lunchmates (if any joins in) would tease me of going to the places I ban. Yes, every working day! And after lunch, Gavin will ask the same question....are u pregnant ? Duh ! It's because our nearer car park always full, only spaces left are those for pregnant ladies.
Since I ban so many places, my lunchmates will tell any new lunchmates and spread abt my banned places, so seems like a lot of ppl know I dun go to these places for lunch/dinner. Even Meow's female colleagues started to agree and ban SSQ foodcourt. If I go....have to make sure I can go straight home, shower, shampoo my hair 2 times immediately. It's like a big sacrifice, I feel suffocated, 'kow ueik' and can't enjoy the food. Kill me better.
So, last year, before I resigned, my colleagues made me go SSQ foodcourt for one last time....so I did. I almost died....ueekk...was so uncomfortable after lunch, wished I had brought my towel, shampoo and extra clothes along. Some more that time my hair long....aiya....so, imagine, the whole of me smelt like rojak food. Really torturing man. They snapped a picture of me to prove my presence there and sent to Allan and Keone in China. Kena perli, said they go buy lottery. Duh !

Ok, sudah out of topic, back to Aug 16. Lunch we round round....ended up at Sunway Tunas, coffee shop, ya, we hardly eat there, so ok, can add to our list.

Dinner with Meow's sis and her fiance plus fiance's parents from France. We had seafood at Oriental Seafood at Gurney. The parents of her fiance don't speak/understand English. So, the fiance was the translator. Food was so-so. I still prefer Bkt Tambun...cheap and good.
After dinner, quite late liao, so I went straight home.

Aug 15 - Dance is Motivation

Gavin on MC. He was already badly affected by the haze when he went to KL the week before, and now lagi worse since he went to kepo and khek bak siao at Esplanade on Sat. Since my lunch mate not around, I makan alone at cafeteria.
If not for dancing class, I also dun feel like coming to work today. We had lotsa fun at class today. I was trying to get more guys to join. CC agreed to join but insisted that I have to be his partner. Edmund refused to join no matter how many times I tried. Surprisingly, Anand wants to join. Thanks man, I am sure you will have fun.

Next batch will start Sept but will be Fri instead of Monday....cham....no motivation to work on Mon liao.

Aug 14 - Enjoying Rest Day

We had lunch at Meow's home. We dun have anything planned and I was too lazy to start my report yet. Didn't touch anything yesterday coz busy with BBQ ma.

We went to Air Itam's pet shop to get dog biscuits and can food for JJ. The shop is bigger and has more choices. 3kg biscuits cost us near to RM 50.
Having a dog is almost as costly as raising a kid...not meh ?

We had our favourite rojak for 'tea'. On the way to Gurney Plaza, we saw another pet shop....hmm...we decided to 'look-see look-see'. So after he parked the car, we hurried and walked to the pet shop nearby (bungalow house). Takut close soon coz evening liao ma. Waaa...so many things. The owner has few dogs following her around the shop. Cute ! Got dresses, costumes and suits for Doggies, cushioned beds and of coz other normal stuff la.

We bought some more pet food. Satisfied, we ronda around, did some spying on bracelets and beads prices. Didn't buy anything except for Meow who bought some socks... sien liao....so back to the car. But Meow still didn't wanna go home, he suggested Starbucks....ok ok, how could I resist Starbucks? So, we had dinner there as well, of coz I wouldn't order anything else other than Frappuccino Expresso. He ordered Coffee with Jelly....that's too sweet for me.

Finally, back home, showered, and started work.....by the time I was done, Meow was in dreamland.

Aug 13 - BBQ

A call from Bee Hoon asking for the location of vet woke me up. Luckily she called coz I dozed off after my alarm buzzed. 10am liao ! Need to go market get sweet potato, cili padi, squids and fish. I dun like to go wet market, very geli and dirty, not forgetting the stench. Still remember when young, I used to black out whenever I go market. I was rather weak and always black out esp. if I feel suffocated, even when I stand too long during school assemblies.
Anyway, I did not black out this time, hehe. But got some dirty water splashed onto my foot when near the fish stalls....eee yaaa....I hope no more next time.
After marketing, we had our breakfast at the SSQ market food court.

The haze was bad, my eyes itched and watery. Been sneezing a bit.
Rested a while and started working on the chicken in the afternoon.

First, boil the chicken meat to half cook or fully cook. Then pour the mixed BBQ sauce (also can use to dip before eating) onto the scooped out chicken and marinate for half hour to one hour. The trick is, u dun have to BBQ too long, so you can avoid eating carboned chicken !

I then had a hard time cleaning the squids, due to the 'black ink'. His mom taught me how to pull the middle part and cut out the eyes. Fish....alamak ! This one really have to hand over to his mom. Meow prepared the boiled water and container, I mixed the blackcurrant syrup. Light slit on the sausages so that can cook faster.
Finally, can bathe before guests coming at 7pm. We waited till almost 8.30pm before ppl start showing up, walau eh, really Malaysian time hor.

They started working on the chicken and sausage immediately. Bruce was so excited with the sauce, later his hands felt the sting from the spicy sauce as he had whole hand with sauce when poking the chic through the BBQ sticks.
Almost everyone complemented on the sauce and asked how to mix the recipe. Of coz I didn't take the credit, I mentioned, it was my dad's recipe. He was once a chef in Nestle, dun siao-siao.

We watched the Summer concert live from 8TV. Gavin and Kean Eng were there at Esplanade. Can hardly see...as we're at the porch and TV in the living room, but surround speakers on, so ok la. We sapu habis everything. Sausages, chicken, fish, squids...almost finished. Sweet potatoes still left a bit as everyone sudah full. I showed off my beaded stuff. Roger ordered 2, wanna kao lui maybe? S.Lin and YT both like the same bracelet, so I have to make another one.
After that we cleaned up and Meow colleagues left by 12 midnight.
Meow washed up the floor while I washed the plates/trays. Showered and finally can rest. Phew ! Damn tired.

Aug 12 - Unintended Sales

Managed to pass Sako the $ for food fair tickets. Those of you who have bought, don't forget to go support on 25th Sept, Jubilee Old Folks Home at Sg. Dua. Not yet buy also can go buy there, morning till 3pm on Sunday.
Sako handed me my leftover beads from the Nyonya fair and the $ I made.
I brought the beads to office as was too lazy to go back in the house. Showed to a few colleagues, somehow, a few ppl nearby got interested and wanted to buy. I sold them at discounted price. Some ordered from me as they wanted customised colour / designs. :)

Initially wanted to buy the chilli/tomato sauce during lunch, but I decided to buy only after work. 7 - 8 bottles, very heavy, some more cannot leave in the car, hot ma.
So, after work, we had McD at Sunshine. After getting the sauce and BBQ stuff, Meow dropped me home. Dad helped me to mix his own recipe of BBQ sauce. He gave me tips on how to season and marinate the chicken meat. Guaranteed sedap, yummy !

Back, tired and hungry

It's 5pm +, just finished checking mails and doing my report....damn hungry. Cannot tahan liao. Wanna go makan my breakfast...er I mean my first meal.

Aug 11 - JJ wants his Daddy

Lunch, we had Pan Mee, no need to wait long as we went before 12noon. Chuah joined us as well. Should've bought lottery ticket. Speaking of lottery ticket, I still haven't check for the results, bought two in July....hopefully I remember later.

After work, Meow wanted to bring JJ for vaccination. Supposed to bring JJ few weeks ago but somehow we have things to do.
Gave JJ a quick bath and into the car he went. We wanted to go to the vet at Hillside but afraid might be closed in case jam...so we went to Peng Aun at Sg. Dua instead. The vet is very nice, he didn't try to sell us anything when I asked for advice on food/shampoo. JJ seems to have dandruff and losing hair around his eyebrows, ears...vet took sample of his skin, could be infection from yeast. We need to keep JJ dry and put cream on his ears. It's a bit difficult since JJ's ears are so long, everytime he drinks milk from the bowl, his ears will be a little wet.

The vet and his assistants seem to like JJ, they kept playing with him. When the vet gave JJ his jab, JJ didn't move a muscle, like 'boh rasa'...hmm....very 'bhan phuey'. But JJ is so cute, he knows how to entertain himself and us, even when he play with his toys, u can laugh or smile...he is sooooo adorable !

Nowadays JJ loves his daddy a lot. Whenever he sees Meow, 5 seconds after Meow went into room, JJ will start to bark, asking for Daddy. Hehehe. So, Meow has to play with him or bring him downstairs to 'poo poo'.

After the vaccination, back to home, he was shaking a bit, maybe not used to being in the car. As soon as he touched the ground, he went ueeekkkk ueeeekkk....alamak, must be car sick. After a while he was ok, jumping here and there.

We were supposed to have dinner coz calories burnt out liao, but Meow didn't want to eat for fear it would be his turn to throw up later. So, I had Char Mee near my place, it wasn't good or maybe I find it a bit oily.

Back home called Sako to inform her about the tickets, will pass her the money next morning before I go to work.

Aug 10 - A,B,C please

Today a bit busy as I have to make sure my report template is correct with new Quotas set in. Gee...I really dislike numbers. If only I can trade it with a 10,000 words report. I dun mind writing A,B,C, but not working with 1,2,3. Headache...headache.

Lunch at BJ, wan tan mee...kesian the ah pek. The foodcourt looks like tak boleh tahan lama...only few stalls left.
After makan, went to buy Nescafe Gold...low supply liao. I saw tools boxes, so I bought two to keep my beads collection.

Since today is Wed and Meow is free from badminton, we dun have to rush through dinner. After KFC (I know....fattening but Meow likes ma), we went to buy our BBQ stuff. Got a small dustbin to put in his room.

Back to his place, spent some time with JJ. Sleep late again.

Aug 9 - Movie Rush

Chuah joined us for lunch, surprised he would agree, normally have to pre-book him.
As Gavin was still sick, forced him to take bee hoon soup. Hehe.

Rushed to GSC Gurney after work. I think this is the first time I went for a movie on weekday.
Roger and Heng came few mins later. Initially, YT, SL are supposed to join but last min didn't go.
We watched 7 Swords, cantonese movie...ok la, so-so nya. I don't really like the camera angles and shots...felt like being cheated. Nothing much to see.
I would've preferred to watch Stealth but those girls said they dunno how to watch wor...sigh !

We don't have enough time for dinner, I was hungry, so we had to make do with chicken nuggets and popcorn. Back home, after shower, alamak, a bit hungry.
Dad cooked porridge, he insisted I take some...ok ok, so I finished the last bowl.

Aug 8 - No Dancing...sien

Today no dancing class as Townhall has been booked for Sales training. Replacement was last week.
Gavin on MC...must be due to Haze in KL. He was there over the weekend.
So, a bit sien for me...no one to berborak-borak with.
Had lunch with Chuah. At first he hesitated when I told him Gavin not in, but I think he just joined me coz he wanted to keep his words.

After lunch, I went around, since still early...I managed to sell all tickets for the Old Folks Home Charity Food Fair.

I overheard my cube neighbour mentioning Edmund being absent ...his granny passed away. Forked out RM 50, passed to her, wrote down my name and sis' name. He's my sis college mate ma, nice guy.

I was like counting the hours, minutes and seconds. Finally, Meow came to fetch me. We had something light. He has his game at 7pm...me ? What else, shopping la. I started with SSQ basement...then to ground floor, admiring jewelleries and 'spy' the prices....satisfied...went to try some jeans...before I knew it, 9pm liao, Meow called, they finished and going to SSQ market foodcourt to have dinner/drinks. I baru reach 1st floor some 10 mins before he called, trying another pair of jeans. Told him I will be there in a while. I bought 2 pairs....no blouse, never mind, next time.

Joined his colleagues and boss. Nothing inviting for dinner...we had drinks only and moved to Super Tanker while the rest went back. Had fried rice but couldn't finish, just lost the appetite. Maybe too oily. Wanted to have lok-lok, but tak buka...sien.

Aug 7 - Fattening food again

Cham liao ! Almost every week I have fattening food. This time it's Pizza...long time didn't eat liao, since Apr. We had the 3 Cheese flavours in 1 pizza. Yummy ~ ~ !! Diet...what diet ? Hehehe...

After late lunch, we decided to loose some calories by shopping ...yup...not only loose calories... $ also ler. Bought some grocery stuff....forced Meow to buy some pants, he gained some wieght, heh heh...I am not the culprit ah...but at least he won't look too skinny ma.

This week, the only week I don't have to do any reports since the Quotas are not finalised yet. Damn 'song'...no need to worry or hurry.

Aug 6 - Cheapest source

I have a mission today, so I woke up quite early coz excited. After lunch at Swatow Lane...so hungry, have to isi perut first ma...we went searching for Lean Trading. Turn out it's situated at Victoria Street, directly opposite Pos Laju. I was so happy...so many beads and materials to choose...lucky thing Meow was patient and didn't complain....waiting for me to choose my beads. I spent more about RM 170.00 but was satisfied. I finally found the cheapest source in Penang.

We didn't go anywhere else after that. Could see that Meow was tired. He washed his car this morning. So he took his nap while I made a set of bracelet, earrings and necklace. By the time he woke up, it was supper time, but we were only going for our dinner.

I checked my mails, my FC didn't send me the Quota numbers yet, so I can't do my report, nvm, this week can enjoy a bit.

Aug 5 - Recharge

Feeling tired as I haven't really rest since Qtr end, I chose to stay home instead of following my aunties and uncle shopping / makan today. Too much good food liao, cannot ler.
I thought I could wake up by noon and watch some tv programmes while I make my bracelets. Ended up waking way past noon, almost tea time, ooops ! But I feel recharged !

I finished off my 2/3 of the sweet corn I bought earlier. Yep, that was my breakfast/lunch. Of coz...how to start my day without Nescafe? After my coffee...I told dad I was going to the saloon. Sent Meow SMS telling him that I will there till about 7pm.
Oh, I called my hairstylist first to check if she was busy, she said ok, she asked me to bring my bracelets to show off. Wow, she remembers ! I told her like 3 months ago. I brought along Jee Kor's creations. Ah Hoon, my hairstylist, she took each one out, sometimes putting it round her neck, some on her wrist....asking lots of questions. She had swarovski crystals on her wrists, single line thread. She asked how to make into the patterns I had. I told her if she's interested, I can make for her, she only has to supply her own beads. The best thing is she shared with me on where to get the materials. The cheapest so far. Yes, I would be going the next day !
I was already so excited when she drew me the map.

I was then engrossed with the Cleo, Women Weekly magazines. Nowadays, she has the most recent magazines, unlike last time, she collect older ones. By 7pm, my hair looked maroon enough. Satisfied :)
I sat there with another magazine while waiting for Meow to call me. Ok, he said he was almost there. I went to tah pao 2 more dishes as dad said he wanted to cook vege and fried fish.
Just as I thought, Meow doesn't like the vege. I think dad is more pro at cooking curry ! His curry, one of the best ! I like esp. his BBQ prawns, :)'

Shortly after dinner, my aunties and uncle came to visit us, together with Small See and her parents. Dad was upstairs having a nap. They said no need to wake him up. Ok. Meow went off for his game while I was left to entertain them. After they left, I was happy making my earrings till late again.

Aug 4 - Eventful day

On leave today. By 10am+, I joined my 3 aunts and uncle to town. First to Mydin to get some materials for my bracelets n necklaces.
So hungry...din have breakfast, almost wanna pengsan while waiting for Jee Kor and Ah Tiong to withdraw some $ at Maybank, Komtar.
Next, headed to Wonderland Restaurant just opposite, buffet lunch, RM 10 per head. So much variety of local food. I like the Bak Kut Teh. The Chai Buey not 'kick' enough, something missing la. Lotsa kuihs as well. I was damn full ler.

After lunch, we headed to Soo Thong to get more beads. Dropped Mako home. She wanted to catch her Korean series. Then back to Sako's apartment...straight away, I started working, showed Jee Kor on how to make a particular pattern. Halfway through, very hot, I went for a quick shower and continue making second one.

Waited for Mako and Meow to join us for dinner. Yummy Choo Char near PBB at Pantai Jerajak there. So full...die la, sure fat eat so much.

Meow went for his game while I followed my relatives back to Sako's place. Continued another bracelet before Mako dropped me off. Back home, after shower, I made some earrings, very happy and satisfied....I continued till almost 5am.
Cannot sleep till 6am. Excited I guess.

Aug 3 - Holiday mood

Spent most of the time doing my claims. Was too busy last week, OT also didn't claim...but now that I am quite free, better do it fast, moreover today is cut-off wor. Since I will be taking two days off, Thurs & Fri, I was kinda lazy and so in holiday mood. Had to find time to accompany my relatives from Sydney.

Lagi best, I got dance class, it's replacement for next Monday. After dance, I waited for Meow. We had dinner with my 2nd aunt (Jee Kor) n her hubby who came abt 2 weeks ago. Pai seh, I was too busy ler. Luckily they dun leave until 7th Aug.
We had dinner at the new restaurant : Golden e-Bay. It's a mix of Chinese and Thai Cuisine. The food is so-so. I feel that other normal choo-char is nicer. As for the Thai food, Siriwan is better. Anyway, u never know until u try ma.

After dinner, we headed back home with my 3 aunties, uncle and Meow. They wanted to visit dad for reflexology massage. I kena 'put on table', dad massaged my wrist and back....waaa....so painful....i think my problem is serious.

I showed Jee Kor how to make bracelets. After they left, I got to rest...finally. Have a busy schedule for the next day.

Aug 2 - Work on Bed

Due to miscommunication with Meow, I ended up working from home. He thought I wanted to take leave on Tues.
Never mind, it was beginning of a new Quarter, so still ok.
I felt so tired n sleepy, but still I stayed in front of my PC for full 8 hours ! Eh, got toilet breaks of coz. Lunch ? Well, I had a slice of the 'Roti Kek' (half bread half cake) which my salesrep gave me. Yummy ! I miss my Nescafe though...

Managed to update my blog after MIA for so long.
Waited till Meow came back, by then I was so hungry.
Packed my stuff and home I went as I haven't seen dad for few days liao. :P

Went back, saw a packet of beads. Seems like my 2nd aunt gave me, called Sako to confirm. Yes, wow...so many, so nice, so happy !

I had been waiting for so many years for Nestle to come out with this brilliant idea. Now, it's so convenient and I can make my Nescafe + Teapot Condensed Milk in the office and whenever I travel ;)

Aug 1 - Peaceful start

I had like only 2 hours sleep. Little misunderstanding with Meow, we made up, but then JJ was making noise. So sleepy, but still, I went to work...coz got dancing later !
It was pretty nice day. Quite relaxing after I sent out some reports. Managed to do my OT claims which I missed out during my leave. I had breakfast with Meow as he went straight to customer's site near my office. Was still quite full during lunch, so I opted for Rojak and fruits. Dunno why, usually I would love to have the BJ Pan Mee, but then I felt like I couldn't take in the oily noodles.

Dancing class was fun as usual. We have to start gathering ppl to join in Sept class as some existing members cannot make it on Friday. I hope there will be enough ppl, I would love to continue. It's good exercise and fun ma. Dunno why the guys shy away / not interested. It's not sissy at all. In fact, it's a good sport.

After dance, I clear some mails...then dinner with Meow and his colleagues and boss. This time slept quite early, was in bed by 12am. I ignored the SMS from Sales CM, sent me SMS at 11.45pm, asking if I can talk....siao.

Son out, Father in (Part 2)

I reached home, I had a quick shower, while dad packed his stuff. Suddenly he said no need to fetch him...he will just go to a clinic. Panicked, sweat ! I had to act 'firm'. I said "No, better go hospital, if midnite anything how?" I know dad dun wanna 'mah huan' us. But I insisted he go...so off we went within 10 mins time.

Meow was driving, dad seated at the back...kept reminding me to off gas, lock doors...hmm....still can worry about me. I was trying very hard not to shed tears.

By 1am, dad was admitted for further check-up as the doc was not in. I made sure everything was fine before I left. SMSed SIL, she called back. She had to go KL next day for work. Dad reminded me, "tell yr Koko, not to come visit me, I will be even more upset, I will chase him away"
I just kept quiet. We left after that.

Called Sako to tell her, she was worried too. She said tomorrow morning will go with me to see dad.

19th July - I was so tired, I hardly slept, I cried myself to sleep. Was awaken by calls...Mako, Sako, then Koko...he was like possessed. I kept my cool. He wouldn't listened. Later he harrassed me with SMS. I replied what I had to...praying that he will realise his doings...then I was busy getting ready and feeding the dogs, he called me again "eh, quiet already?" I told him I was not so free to argue...what he said, I counter off with explanations and reasons....hopefully he will realise that he too was doing the same to Wilfred. He shouldn't blame dad for not taking care of him since young. Dad was away working and left Koko with grandparents. Koko was upset and thought Dad doesn't love him, now only wanna take care of him. I told him dad loves him the most...his only son...his sacrifices means a lot. Koko said he cannot stand, Dad very bossy...I told him, to give and take, this is not permanent, just for few weeks...try to reason nicely....then Koko was like shouting again....damn...both father and son, really same. Boh lat.

Dad looked tired, he couldn't sleep with even 2 sleeping pills. Next to his bed, a 19 yr old kid, hit & run victim, had a broken left leg, told me my dad was very upset last nite. They talked thru till morning.

Dad had the stress test and on Wed, Endogram test. Doc found 3 arteries blocked and advised to go for ballooning.
Thurs, the Ballooning was done, 5 stands altogether. Dad looked fine. He just needed lotsa rest.
I was on emergency leave, taking care of Dad, the dogs, fishes...lucky thing Meow was there.
On Sat, I was so touched when Meow helped to change the water in the tanks...About 4 aquariums...really tiring. I was busy helping with the hose and cooking dog's food. Also, my team members and boss send regards and flowers. Oh...Y.Nee and Gigi too...thank you for calling when you saw my OOO message.
And to sis...sorry...I had no choice but to hide from u first...I was really upset and busy, didn't wanna upset u further. It wasn't really serious....I promise, if serious, then will let u know ok.

Oh...ya, Koko called to ask if it was ok if he visit Dad on Wed nite, the night before surgery. I had to be the middle person...dad said no need, so late, but he said up to him...I guess that was green light. Koko brought herbal soup....I let them talk when I was sure they won't start another war. Thank God, everything is fine. What a relief.

Dad was discharged on Mon 25th July. Koko fetched him...peace :) Met Jee Kor (Aunt Esther from Australia), showed her my beads...she wants to me teach her how to make...ok, hopefully sometime this week.

As for me...I was back to work, most crucial week of the Quarter, my performance review highly depends on how I did during this period.
Had to miss lunch sometimes, India team member in Penang...gotta squeeze some time to teach him, dinner at Eden Seafood on Wed nite...2 crabs already cost RM 100 ! The bill came to RM 300++. Saw Ah Khim Ee (mom's cousin). She was so happy to see me, she just came back from Australia (vacation). She was surprised to hear about dad and send her regards.

Ok, I am so glad everything bad is over. Quarter end is over. In fact, I had great time last Sat. Watched 'The Island" and then supper at Green house. We proceeded to a nice place, I forgot the name but it's next to Naza Hotel at Batu Ferringhi...by the sea...We ordered a bucket of Carlsberg, about one each...there were six of us (Bruce joined in later). I played with a puppy...stray one I guess...so cute but she has real sharp teeth, ouch !
There u go, not very long after all as I decided to leave out some details.

Finally, I am back. And as usual, due to poor memory, I cannot remember much. I will not put date by date, just a summary of what happened last 2 weeks.

18th July...It was like most usual Mondays...work, then eagerly waiting for dancing class which then finished at 7.30pm, back to my cube, continued working while waiting for Meow to pick me up (after his game).

Was busy with my reports when suddenly my hp rang...Sis In Law (SIL) ?
Hmm...weird coz she hardly calls me. At first I thought it must be Koko wanna speak to me coz today he's supposed to be discharged. (yeah, finally I can rest a bit, no need to go hospital, rush here and there).


SIL : Hello...ah Joez
Joez : Hah...Ah Soh...ha mi su (whazzup)?

SIL : Your bro, he had a fight with yr dad.
Joez : Hah ?! How come ?

SIL : They have some misunderstanding.....bla...bla...bla...wanna go back SP.......dad will disown if he doesn't go back home....

I got very pek cik, I was worried about dad, and also Koko, he just came out, he's not supposed to eat anything but his nutricient milk. I thought everything's gonna be fine when he's out from hospital. He will stay at our home in Sg. Nibong, dad will take care of him....but what's this I just heard?

Helpless and unsure what to do...I dialled for Sako, I told her...I couldn't contain my shock and tears any longer...then we conference in Mako....and I conference in SIL.
SIL couldn't help much as Koko was all fired up and wouldn't listen. I got even more emotional. I used up almost all the tissues I have at my cube.
It was really unbelievable, I thought this sort of situation only happens in drama.

I wasn't sure how dad took it and I know it must be real upsetting for him. He never open up to me...so how ? I sent a SMS to him, 'kesi-kesi' ask if he wants anything for dinner. He replied promptly, "No, TQ". Ok, at least I know he's breathing and conscious.

I quickly finished off whatever left as I foresee I won't be working next day. I was crying non-stop...I know a few colleagues said goodbye when I was still on the phone and crying, I just ignored...I couldn't even waved back, I felt so down and heavy.

Still worried, I SMSed dad to tell him I roughly knew what happened and not to worry about Koko, He will be back from SP next day. He didn't mean what he said.

Alamak ! This time no reply.

Meow pickep me up shortly...I think my tears equivalent to a bottle of big mineral water. Had a quick dinner and tried not to cry anymore as I must not let my dad see. Just a minute before I reach home, dad called me, say he wants to go check-up. He cannot sleep. Oh oh ~~ !!

July 17 - My Beloved JJ

I had a stressful week...a lof of things happened. I will blog about it much later....or maybe not.
Ok, let's rewind a bit...damn, can hardly remember what happened.

Sun...woke up quite early coz Meow asked if I wanna follow him for breakfast. I sooo wanted to Zzz but then I thought...if I say no...then he eat liao, later I ma have to wait till tea time before I can have my lunch ? So...I dragged my ass out from the bed. I thought can have roti bakar again...but we ended up at Bayan Baru's (SSQ) market....kena tipu liao.

We went to SSQ to shop for puppy's food and also dog biscuits to give to Gavin. So nice, he agreed to give us one of his Cocker Spaniels, one month old.

I didn't sleep back after that...had to do my reports...after that read some blogs...then update my own.

Gavin SMSed me...called him back, meeting him at around 9.30pm for our new 'son'.
I fell in love with the puppy immediately. It's all black in colour (now no time to post pic). The fur...goodness, softest I've ever touched !

Earlier asked Meow what to name him...Meow said 'JJ'. Alamak, I think he listens too much of JJ's songs. Ai meh (Want meh?). Then he said..."ok, if not JJ, how about....er, what Wang Li Hong's English name liao ah ?"
Me..."Li Hom?!! Eh, siao la, no way! Sounds like 'your hum*'....cei!"
Meow, "Ok, JJ then". Me..."JJ ma JJ lo, as long as not Li eh Hum..er, Li Hom or Blackie (almost all black dogs called Blackie).

JJ was very quiet and slept on my lap on the way back. But once he touches ground, very active, jumping here and there. Ahhh...so adorable ! But u get so geram when he cries in the early morning.

Meow was so excited, he went surfing and reading on how to train puppy till 3am++. How I know ? I could NOT sleep ma...remember I am light sleeper...sigh !

July 16 - Yippie Shopping..Shop Shop!

9am alarm goes off...what the heck, snooze (thank goodness they invented this snooze thingy)...snooze...9.30am...alamak! First time after so many months...waking up so early on weekend.

Meow accompanied me for breakfast, I get to have 'roti bakar' (toast) with half-boiled egg. Yum yum...but still, the one in Hutton Lane's chinese kopitiam is still the best! Meow went for his karaoke (with lunch) while I started my shopping at Gurney Plaza basement...
time was 11.40am...was in Watson...next level...and then just 5 mins after I reached 1st Floor...Meow called asking where I was...waa...2pm ! I baru sampai Level 1. No wonder my feet sore liao but was happy, at least I got myself a pair of heels. My current favourite pair almost torn...the strap there....so had to buy, otherwise Mon cannot dance.

I told Meow I hungry...2.5 hours of shopping burns calories ok. So we went to ...hehe....Starbucks....no spagetthi or curry puff...so I had chicken pie, Meow had Choc Hazelnut cake....drinks? Of coz none other than Frappuccino Espresso, yes!

After filling up...met up with Roger, Bruce and Ms Heng...they were having some cakes and coffee...we hung around while waiting for YT to shop.

4pm, we said goodbyes....I told Meow I just wanted to 'round' thru the upper levels as we go get the car top floor...he challenged me to watch horror movie. Hmm...kesian him, always accompany me, ok lo, I agreed but he mustn't stop me from closing my eyes...hehe.

Still got half hour till 5.15pm...he went to put the stuff I bought in the car while I look around...oops, I bought so many 'rubber' bangles...Meow helped me choose later when he saw me. Then before I went to ladies, he suddenly told me he saw my ex. I just paused and continued talking, pretending not hearing at first...later I asked "with that girl ?"...Meow said dunno coz bumped into him at the gents. Honestly, I just dun wish to see that bitch's face, not on weekends....on weekdays...can't help it coz I pass by her cube 5 days a week...usually I look away, memang meluat tengok dia tu. Sick...to think my ex so stupid...yet can't help him.

AmityVille Horror....ok, not that scary but scary enough for me. After the show, went to visit Koko, he lost so much weight, lost 23 Kgs since he was admitted. Now more leng chai...hehehe.

After that, we had dinner near Ah Kong's old coffee shop there...we sat at Leng lui's thong sui. My fav. Char Koay Kak not open for business...so, it's confirmed, he cuti every Sat. I had curry mee, so-so la...and some spring rolls....ooops....how to keep fit?!

Back....quickly shower...do my reports...waaa...eyes so tired...cannot liao, my 'battery' need charging.
