It's the wedding, so tiring, followed them to jemput bride. The groom n Meow n guys very pandai, pushed me and Jass in to bride's room...to sort of help them later if they fail to 'bribe' the 'papalang brides' maid & girls with the ang pow. But somehow they didn't expect, Jass 'sek woon meen fan woon tai', she helped the girls instead. She took a tissue, asked each of us to 'kiss' on it, shoved pass under the door, ask the groom to guess and circle which lipstick mark belongs to his wife (Hoon). Haha...they didn't get it right....there were other tricks but in the end, when the girls opened a little of the door...the guys pushed in...boy, I was lucky to be on the phone at that time and was somewhat further away. I heard the girls complained of feet kena stepped...looked like some sort of stampede to me.
After tea ceremony of the bride's side, we headed back to Meow's home for another session with the groom's family n relatives. I took some pictures as well.
Much later, I was too tired, had a short nap.
So fast, dinner for the groom's side. Was held at Chong Cheng Primary School for convenience sake to their relatives. Dad came too.
What a tiring nite, we counted the Ang Pow till midnite.
Meow n I and his parents helped to calculate ang pow while the newly wedded couple get some 'rest' ;) Waa...it was quite a tough time for Meow n his parents to figure out some 'artistic' chinese handwritings on the Ang Pow.
